Accessibility Compliance in Video Games

While many video games may come with accessibility options, games at the moment are considered private because they do not contain any goods or services. Accessibility additions could include features such as colour changes, or warnings about flashing lights with an option to turn them off if needed. Still, video games only have accessibility features, not full accessibility standards.

If games ever became stores, then mandatory accessibility guidelines would be required. If games were ever embedded in virtual reality, they would become public games and would also have to adhere to accessibility features. For example, if vr goggles became part of video games, they would need mandatory accessibility features such as assistive technology.
