7 Essential Items for Live Stream Success | Camera

Just one camera is often not effective for streaming. Ideally, you would want at least two, both at different angles to give you a larger scope of your vision and the vision of the audience watching you. One camera helps you to see, and the other is to broadcast with. The camera focused on you should be positioned in a way that lines up with your eyes. Typically, a standard laptop webcam will line up below or above your eye line, since you often look at the laptop screen rather than the camera itself. However, positioning the camera so your eyes line up with the screen gives the stream a much more personal feel. It gives audience the sense that you are directly engaging with them.
