A streaming computer essentially needs to perform the functions that you need it to perform. Since you need to stream a video, whether it be a game, a video or anything else, you need a computer that is able to consistently project that footage live while staying connected to the internet. The biggest limiter for a computer is memory, since that determines how much your computer is able to store. While you don’t need to spend the entirety of your funds on the most expensive computer you can find, you at least need one that has enough memory to fulfill your needs as a steamer. Keep in mind that for gaming, streaming can be done from the game system itself. For example, the PlayStation 4 has a “Broadcast” function that allows you to link your Twitch channel and stream from the machine.
