Future of Virtual Reality

Will the future of virtual reality become chips in our brains? If that happens, it will likely begin with sensors before evolving to commands and eventually an electrical brain circuit that could override the brain completely. This could rapidly accelerate learning, providing instantaneous information without the need for google searches, reading or virtual reality headsets. Devices such as android phones, Google glasses and HTC Vive are useful to us because of their convenience and capabilities, but their functionality would be completely outmatched by brain chips. The elements of virtual reality applications are always determined by the most effective current technology.  

Ultimately, virtual reality has vast potential for the future. 5g is currently done in real time by surgeons around the world, but advanced technology may actually be able to put them there. Currently, one major aspect missing from current virtual reality technologies is sense of touch, but when that could be successfully replicated, there would almost be nothing the brain could distinguish between the real world and the virtual world. Some people may fully embrace this type of virtual reality, and inhabit it as their true reality. In the future, virtual reality may become the only reality for many.
